About RFDS

The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia is a not-for-profit charitable Service providing aeromedical emergency and primary health care services together with communication and education assistance to people who live, work and travel in regional and remote Australia.

The Royal Flying Doctor Service relies on the generosity of individuals, corporations, schools, and community groups across Australia to help make up the shortfall in funding.

This support ensures the Service can continue its commitment of providing its many services, including 24 hour emergency care and treatment for those in need.

Without the generosity and support of individuals, community groups and organisations across the country, those living and working in regional, rural and remote Australia would not have the lifeline they have come to depend upon.

The funds donated from mychallenge are divided equally between the Australian Council of the RFDS and the QLD RFDS section.
